Im a born farm girl.
we have couple of beef cows. my sister has mules. I have raised pigs but they are in the freezer now. We have some chickens. barn cats. A sheepdog and a house dog. Our main animals are sheep. We have 40-50 in the summer. In the fall me butcher the younger ones.
In the summer we harvest our own hay for the winter. and we have a big garden.
As we are moving, Im leaving the farm for my first time. it will be strange. No more sheep sheering. No more chicken slaughtering. No flying around on the tractor in the hot sun. No forking hay four hours and hour and hour and hours and hours..... Life will be different.

Jayne, I pray you are doing well and adjusting to your bigger home, please update us.
I grew up in the country with cows, bulls, dogs, cats and a huge garden. I loved the rural life! I would love to have chickens and sheep.
