Rules last updated - May 2, 2008 Welcome to Devoted People For God! This is a free Christian website for girls and guys. I hope that you will register for Devoted People For God. If you are a member, I pray that you enjoy DP and that you grow in your walk with the Lord. When you apply for membership, please send these questions with your answer to devotedpeopleforgod@excite.com: 1) Why do you wish to be part of Devoted People? 2) How did you find out about Devoted People? 3) What is your testimony? THIS IS IMPORTANT! WITHOUT THIS, YOU WILL BE REJECTED. Testimonies will be put into the Testimony forum. Testimonies are a required part of the application to Devoted People. This is a website I started based off an idea of my sister's. We both wanted to the forum to provide wholesome Christian fellowship for Christian guys and girls. Several people will be writing devotions for 6 days a week. Each member will have a journal (if wanted) that others can post in. As a Christian, your conduct should honor and glorify God. These rules should be easy to follow. 1) You are to treat everyone with respect. 2) Don't request to be an administrator or a moderator. It will be given to those who are fit for the job. 3) Stay on topic. Spam or irrelevant posts will be deleted. If you constantly spam, you will be suspended. If after you are accepted into the forums again, and you still spam, you will be banned. 4) NO PERSONAL ATTACKS! You will be permanently banned if this happens. No name calling or discriminating against names or race. 5) No swearing. You will be permanently banned. Please don't use slang either We also ask that you don't talk about secular music that has lyrics that are explicit (ex. Avril Lavigne, Akon, etc.). 6) Do not give out phone numbers, last names, or home addresses. 7) Don't post in all caps! It's viewed as yelling. I can understand a 'yes' or 'no', but don't go overboard. 8) Please use proper English! It's hard for people to determine what you're saying when you use wacky abbreviations and numbers for words. Warnings may result if you choose to disobey. You have three warnings before you are banned. Please post and stay active! I don't want a message board that has 25 members, and only 10 of them post. Also, some of you get on just to pm. Please make at least one post while you're on! Please tell your Christian friends about Devoted People.
